I was in Krabi a few years ago and was undecided where to eat. I searched a video of yours and Nong Jok was one of the reviewed restaurants. So I decided to go there to see why it had your tilting head approval. They have a crab curry that was one of the most unforgettable dishes I have ever tried, and if it wasn't you Mark, I would never come across the restaurant.
Whether in Thailand or around the world, you help me a lot where to find the best food. Kop khun krap from a Portuguese living in Bangkok: )

I lived in Krabi several times and love it. The chicken you had looked delicious and at weekend walking street downtown there are several good chicken vendors with similar chicken. The other thing is night market at the wharf where you can get the best grilled red snapper and other fish that is delicious and inexpensive. I would mention good dim sum around the area, as well. You brought back fun memories.

Again, Thai Food is so Healthy. The broths are simple and full of Garlic, Herbs and those Curry
Spices. Lots of different seafood. Great for brain.
blood sugar, blood pressure and kidney health.
Many vegetables tastefully chopped and added.

If owners of resturants know your going then you will get the good treatment. You can't tell me you just turn up and eat what's been sitting out for ages. No, they give you preferential treatment which is wrong because anyone else going might be disappointed in what they get to what you got.

We love your vlog we live in phuket and travel alot through krabi to family in Phatthalung. We've visited all the phuket restaurants you've recommended in phuket. Will definitely be heading to Nong Joke ps were going to the place next to sarasin Bridge that you visited last vlog tomorrow

If/when I hit the lotto jackpots, I’m definitely moving back to Thailand. Everything here is so expensive including foods. A big portion of food plates cost mostly $15 or more in America. In Thailand or Laos, eve big portion of food plates is lesser than $9. 00.

I went to Krabi and stayed at the Sheraton. They filmed the second Hangover movie there. We ate across the street every night and it was awesome family owned place with a gray cat they would walk through the restaurant. I loved it! Such nice people!

no I would go for beef I don't like goat. I make goat for hubby but I don't uke texture n I don't like lamb meat either taste is gross to me I raise all but only eat beef chicken pork n rabbit n some seafood

Hi anyone who is Thai or well versed with Thai food, help me understand this. Both the King Mackerel and Lady fish weren’t gutted nor were the shrimps deveined. Is it not commonly done in Thailand

Thai food is the BEST cuisine in the world. When I was travelling Krabi province I was in heaven everyday with the beautiful flavours, versatility and heat of southern thai food!
