I discovered something else this summer Prepare a simple Jiffy cornbread batter according to package directions and add 1/2 cup yogurt and set aside, do not bake it. Then cook up a box of mac and cheese. Then stir the corn bread batter into the cooked mac and cheese and pour into a casserole dish and bake at 350 about 25 minutes. Top with cheese and fried onions, bake 5 minutes more. Heaven!

Oh man! I know I'm making that! I like that your dressing is not too soupy before you bake it and yet not too dry. It's just amazing to watch how easy you make all these recipes. And it's always so easy for us to follow. Even though I have your cook book I constantly come back to your video to see exactly how to get it right. Sometimes more than once on the same recipe.

I'm like you, Angelica. I don't need the turkey. Just give me the dressing with chicken in it, and that delicious chicken & gravy to go over it. Some mashed potatoes, Southern style green beans, and roasted sweet potatoes and ham. That's my perfect Thanksgiving. With pumpkin pie, pecan pie and Texas Mudpie Bars for dessert.

Thank you! that is a good recipe. I really like at the end how you showed the self roasting electric oven, I got one this week to cook my Thanksgiving turkey and was wondering if it really roasted the turkey the way it says it would. I love the color it gave as if it was done in a conventional oven.

This Thanksgiving is coming upon us fast. I can't wait for dressing, that was the thing that everyone wanted. My mother also made a 24 hr fruit salad so good. This looks good, we like our dressing moist and juicy.

I have a pan similar like that. I made cornbread dressing like this last year and it came out beautifully.
I like the corner of my dishes that I cook.
I put in Bell peppers and onions with chicken.

You and me. I don't like Turkey that much neither. I'm not like my Famy that they can eat Turkey time after time. 1 plate is enough for me.

Delicious I'm glad you toasted the cornbread I've seen where some don't. I make a Giblet gravy but yours looks delicious too.
