I'm sure the sugar tastes better than it sounds, but my head can't comprehend it with the ketchup/mustard/hot dog taste. Same thing with the street sandwich. I think I'm interpreting it as a texture thing rather than a flavor thing. Like, seeing that gritty sprinkled sugar only on donuts or churros - sweet things.
Bc otherwise, all my other favorite flavor combos wouldn't make sense logically either. Like honey mustard. Or the varieties of special fry seasoning at restaurants, which almost always have sugar.

Can you believe I was in Korea for 6 months and never bought one? I regret it so much now because I usually went to a corn dog place, but to get soft-served ice-cream! hahahaha. I should make them at home now.

This looks so good. I'm glad that there's no egg in the recipe(I can't have egg. All I need to do is cover the Lightlife(or Beyond) sausages and enjoy a good Korean corndog without feeling guilty

Thank you very much. I was grown up in the community of the Soviet Koreans. And they used to make a kind of sweets called YOCI (or yosi) It was very nice and yummy.
