I know im late but the best way to do it is pick one location. If he isn-t there set up camp and sleep. At one point it said i couldn-t set up camp because an activity was nearby so i looked and he wasn-t there. It was about 8 am. I set up camp far away and slept till noon checked back and he was there. I found him in the spawn around diablo ridge

Is it possible to encounter him twice? I-m asking because I remember encountering him before but not doing anything because I was new at the game. Now that I see that the map is useful, I went searching for him. I-ve thoroughly searched all locations twice but he wasn-t there. Is my chance to find the map gone?

I got the map and everything way before I saw this tutorial but for the life of me couldn't find the last treasure because this website kept confusing me about the cliff steps. Watching you run around the cliff and get it in. 10 seconds was not only helpful but very satisfying. Thanks

I found him after epilogue playing as John. I killed him but he wasn't talking or anything. He was just walking away from the clif when I got closer so I decided it could be him. I put few bullets in him and after I looted him i didn't received the map. Any help?

When I 1st heard the guy mumble something I get off to check what he's talking and heard him talk about a map. I knew I had to get it. The moment he start to run I already equip the lasso and tied him up. Thnx for showing the location. Good job

At Riggs Station I sniped him and when I got to him to collect the map his body was gone and the map wasn't even on the ground.
I checked the fences and they don't have it; think I messed my game up?

Thank you thank you thank you for showing all his spawn locations. I read so many guides that all say somewhere different and to finally have a map showing it all, I found him no problem, mad respect

I don't want to know how many hours it took me but he finally appeared at the big circle next to Cumberland Falls. I hate this. The easiest challenge and it's probably going to be the longest one for me.

its not after chapter 3 i found it before doing micah's jail break
i replayed the game about 3 times now (now is my third and i plan on making it a freeroam)

It doesn't have to be chapter 3. I'm barely into chapter 2 & I just found him. You also don't need to lasso him. I told him to hand over the map & he did.

Can I just pick one of the spots and keep visiting that place everyday (by sleeping in the camp. Is there a chance he spawns in that one location?
