There are 11 Estus Flask Upgrade Shards in Dark Souls 3. Finding all of their locations is needed for the Ultimate Estus Trophy / Achievement. By giving them to the blacksmith in Firelink Shrine you can increase the number of Flasks you can carry. You start out with 3 estus + 1 ashen flask. Combined with the 11 estus shards this brings you to a total of 15 flasks. Since these are your health/mana potions it is highly advantageous to get them as soon as possible. It will let you survive longer and thus makes things easier for you. None of them are missable! You can still get them after beating the final boss. This video guide shows them in the order in which they can be obtained (early game areas first, endgame areas last. In your inventory you can see how many you have. At the blacksmith you can turn ashen flasks into estus flasks and vice versa. Remember that you must also pick up the 10 Undead Bone Shards to increase the amount of HP/FP restored with each flask use. Aside from that the Undead Bone Shards will also earn you the Ultimate Bonfire trophy / achievement. All Bone Shards Guide

Only reason I watched this one is cause the other video I watched the guy showed killing the giant lightning worm in smouldering lake. But that is for getting the undead bone shard. Rather than showing goung under ground to a hidden wall/door in smouldering lake. Some people I tell ya!

Your videos are certainly helping. I just beat the game 1/21/20 around 4 a. m. EST with my buddy helping. I only have the nameless king & a few other trophies to achieve to obtain my 1st platinum.

-powerpyx Ultimate status trophy did not pop up even though I got all status flask shards at +10. Bonfire level is at max as well. Do you know or anyone knows a fix for this?

Fun fact about the Cemetery of Ash shard, I actually got it as my first shard. There's a tree you can jump from to get on the roof and get the flask shard for free.

At the sixth estus shard shown in the video you drop down a hole in the Smouldering Lake, how do you unlock that path? It wasn't broken down and open for me

damn it all of my flasks are allotted to my health and I have followed this guide step by step and only have 14 I don't understand what I'm missing

You can tell which chests are fake and which are real. One breaths and also you can tell by the chain how it's coiled up.
