I really wish I could like this guy. It just feels like he's trying to do a rough approximation of several of his colleagues unique brands and voices at once and it just ends up feeling. Hollow? And reeeeeal slow. Like you can't try to do the absurdism of bdg, the cynicism of Jenna, the dead pan of pat and the awkward of Simone all at once. It ends up feeling like someone who waited til the dnd party was already formed to fill the gaps and what's left is a half baked partial skill monkey with a little healing and no heart to draw you in.

I dont consider games where a singular unit is in it a crossover.
I dont consider smash a crossover game because it has no story.
i consider kingdom hearts a crossover game, aswell as most games that add items, or an event story to experience crossover gsames
but i do not consider naruto storm 3 a crossover game because lars from tekken is in it.
i think fighting games deserve to be removed from this conversation, unless the fighting game has items or a world, something grander to experience, withen the theme.

Project x Zone series is an S-tier for me, because it is basically Smash but tactical RPG. The game has crossovers of various JRPGs from Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega and Nintendo, both known and unknown. All of the characters have moves pulled from their home series, beautifully animated in anime style. Not only that, the game has a very good plot that keeps me wanting to watch more and more as it goes.

Great video, also, I love the Ratatat shirt! Ratatat are such a great band, I've been listening to their music for over a decade at this point! Unrelated, but I think its super ironic that on a video about crossovers I saw an ad for Spotify now being available in Roblox. Probs would rank rather low on the chart I'd imagine lmao

In fairness to Bruce Lee in a UFC game, he is not only an inspiration to many martial artists, but his Tao of Jeet Kune Do still influences combat sports today and cross trained different disciplines, which few had attempted before.
Still feels like a suit's idea to play as Bruce Lee though.

Obligatory comment that Cyclops doesn't shoot laser beams. His eyes are a portal to another dimension that release Concussive Blasts.
There was an X-Men character that DID have lasers and they had to put a lot of effort into reminding us that Cyclops is different.

Am I the only one that played and loved Mario and Sonic at the Vancouver Olympics Winter games? Like not only did it had great mini-games like the previous game, but it had a story mode I really enjoyed.

There are many potential crossovers like -DC vs Capcom, Transformers vs Gundam, - heck even a -SEGA Smash Bros style game- would be awesome as well, the possibilities are obviously ENDLESS to think about!

Monster Hunter and FFXIV was great on both ends in both games! If I can add, the FFXIV and NieR Automata crossover was also so so much better than it had any right to be. Absolutely stellar.

One of the most interesting crossover I saw was in a mobile game. Arknights crossing over with Rainbow 6. It was something I never expected, but they pulled it off well.

I can think of two other that could have ranked pretty high. Def Jam Vendetta (Maybe not technically a cross over) and the Lego games are a clear S in my opinion.
