Check out over 17 minutes of direct feed gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, running on Nintendo Switch I admit I wasnt sure if this would be a game Id want when I get my Switch, but after watching this gameplay, I DEFINITELY want it. personally I wasnt impressed with the LoZ games that came out the last several years(except Between Worlds, that was a cool game IMO) and wasnt sure about getting any Zelda game but Links Awakening for the Switch. but this game is for sure going on my wishlist for games I want to start with on my Switch -\r\n

Every time I watch Link scale a wall where he shouldn't really have any proper handholds, I get the urge to start singing Homer's song. --Spider Link, Spider Link. Does whatever a Spider Link does. Can he swing, from a web? If he did, he'd be dead. Look out- Here comes the Spider Link. --

This looks brilliant. I've never played a Zelda game before so this is pretty new for me. This makes me want a Nintendo Switch so badly but I already have a PS4 so it feels pointless getting a new console for this game. If only Nintendo could release this on PS4.

I'm Zelda fan but this cartoonish style just sucks.
Zelda lost its realism that it once had back in Ocarina or even in Twilight princes for instance. Now a Skywar Sword and Breath of T. W with Skyrim or Witcher 3 graphics would be perfect!

How did I not notice the animal noises in the background change too? The forest has birds, the snow has music (birds don't like the cold, and the field has cricket noises! This isn't even mentioning how nighttime is like.

this -comic style- gfx make it look like a game of early 2000. global illumination and overall lighting look great but the lack of textures gives me the feel like it was an alpha game.

I'm not sure how much longer I can last without this game. I'm losing my mind. Only 3 more hellish days at work before I get a three-day weekend playing nothing but this -_-

The landscapes look gorgeous, I'm not very keen on the way the characters have been rendered at all though, they should have kept it consistent with the surroundings.

Has anyone noticed the frame rate drops? I want the switch to be amazing and it is but I don't want frame rate drops happening anytime there's a big explosion

They should have really put the stamina bard somewhere else vs right in the middle of the screen next to your character. Very poor choice in my opinion.

Looks great but I kinda wish they would've done a better job on the plain looking textures. Everything else though, looks great. 22 days left.

Dont understand why you'd use a bomb arrow on a bomb crate instead of a fire arrow. seems like a waste of bomb arrows to me. -_-

pfffff nintendos games are so basic in every single way, that zelda is so ocerhyped with paid articles and videos

1: 55 A rupee! Lying there, on the ground! :O That's the first time I've seen one in ANY Breath of The Wild video!

What are you even supposed to do? Run around and tame horses? :D Or do we just have to save the princess again?
reply

This is painful to watch. I don't know whose at the controller, but they shouldn't have been paid for it.
