The new Elden Ring trailer is chock full of little weirdoes, hecked up guys, and nasty creatures. We use our expert knowledge of From Software's oeuvre to accurately predict who they are, and what their deal is. --SPOILER ALERT-- All of these predictions will be completely accurate!

The funniest miss in this video is how the voice Pat does for Gideon is like the -polar opposite- of his actual voice.
The only other inaccuracy is calling the frog-faced Albinaurics -gentle travellers-, those slippery little bastards are pure evil!

reply

Love Pat and he's got his own cool thing(Voldo video is A1) but really would've been nice to have BDG back to do Dark Souls Employees, having already done the bosses in spectacular fashion.
reply

the meta level soulsborne humor of this video culminates in, -We're givin' you a partner and yeah, it's a horse! -
I will think about this every time I see Magic Horse, now.

reply

Lore comes and goes, but Meta is Eternal. (Seriously, this video absolutely Nailed It well before the game even came out. Just goes to show what an English Major can do for you)
reply

The biggest flex is making a followup video just about Margit and then not bragging about how you got the soul read on him a year ago. You called him out on his entire deal.
reply

-He looks really, really scary, but my guess is that he's just the guy you need to fight before you get into the _real_ game. - Wow. Really called Godrick.
reply

I will say, a lot was right. Particularly Berserk from Berserk. But Handor does show up a lot. More times than you can count on their many fingers
reply

I don-t know if I-m more amazed by the Malenia prediction, the Burger Kings prediction, or the Lady Pious prediction. Unreal foresight, Pat.
reply

This is Lady Pious, which is ironic because she hates God. This is her friend Loyal Blade Wilhelm, which is ironic because he betrays her.
reply

Coming back here to fact check all these weird little guys now that Elden Ring is out. I can say now this video is 100% accurate.
reply

This video properly breaks down the likely character tropes that will show up in Elden Ring. And yet, my takeaway is:
Buil
Ding

reply

you were pretty accurate on a lot of this huh, i think the guess that ended up being the least accurate was the three fingers.
reply

TCR is far from Elden Ring's only little guy to low-profile my claymore hit box. but also now everytime it happens I laugh lol
reply

Ruin from Darksiders, might not be the first magic horse in a game, but when it comes to magic horses, Ain't noone cooler.
reply

Melina as -One of the few sources of warmth in this brutal world- ended up being a lot more literal than I expected

i wish to one day experience the joy that patrick gill experienced when he proclaimeed unto his followers -Yhorm! -
reply

Pat said 2009-2019 was the decade of dark souls, he never said there couldn't be MORE decades of dark souls
reply

It's amazing coming back to this after beating the game to see how close you were on a lot of these lol
reply

he is prince pot boy, son of king big pot, king of the ceramics and the first cups, protector of the plate lol
reply

Coming back after the game released, and other than the names, some of these are surprisingly accurate
reply

I can't wait for this comments section to be flooded with how completely correct this is in a few days
