I kind of care, when game reviewing site gives a game 10/10 score.
And its to a game that is unfinished, broken, laggy and has lots of cheaters. But at the same time you can pay for that kind of obviously not 10/10 experience.
Players get a broken game, developers get a signal that they dont have to do anything about that mess, and polygon at least should not be taken seriously when it comes to future game reviews

Public G is by far my game of the year and I've only -played- it through watching these wonderful, hilarious, exhilarating Awful Squad livestreams. Any game can be fun when you play it with friends, that doesn't necessarily make it a great game. If you had played any multiplayer shooter with the awful squad you would have had just as much fun, I think this is more a testament to how great you and your good good polygon friends are than the game!

There has been some incredible games this year, but I think pubg has to win goty for being the biggest success story in a long ass time. It came from nowhere to take over steam and now its on consoles too. Its monolithic.

I thought it was a sloppy overpriced game that was hard for newer players to get a good experience from and I couldn't have fun with it at all, but I'm glad y'all are having a blast with it and I like watching the streams.
