Why are people in the comments so confused or disappointed? The character looks interesting and the special dialog and enemies are cool, this is her without any upgrades so she has more weapons and abilities, and apparently the story and bosses are changed. I get that the game isn't as good as Pirates Curse but Pirates Curse was an absolutely amazing game and this one is still really good just not as good. This is 5 minutes long, give it a chance

To be fair Shantae HGH is the first and only Shantae game I've played so far but I'm a little disappointed with this DLC. It seems like a lazy reskin without any story. If people enjoy it though then I'm happy. After seeing it though I don't really care if it comes out or not.

I'm REALLY hoping they add all the single button press pirate gear,
that was one of the best things about pirate's curse, the ease of activating each ability, and traversing puzzles without every having to toggle anything, yet still having to use multiple abilities.

It's kinda strange to see RIsky's sailors attacking her first even though it's SHE who wants to punish them and they don't know about it yet.
Bathroom animations are top notch, tho!

Is this out now, or is it still on the way? I loved the pirate campaign for Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, looks like Risky's going to bring that sort of gameplay to HGH.
