honestly this seems like a funny game no matter your stance on gun control and ya'll need to stop taking it so seriously. like, you cant deny people like guns in america. nothing in this trailer really seemed to imply that was a bad thing its just. WOaH GunS!
An aside: I like guns. I think america needs better gun control. you can do both. If you just look at statistics, other countries have a lot less gun violence and death because of their better gun control. I still think people should be allowed to have guns but there should be better vetting for it. the second amendment right was about being able to protect yourself from the government and revolt if needed, however nowadays military weapons are far to advanced for people to use any guns we can legally get to realistically overthrow the government anyways. and most of you gun lovers seem to love the government too anyways so idk what ur cryin bout. Guns now adays should be used for hunting and sport and should only be given to responsible owners who have proper training. How much training and vetting is proper is a reasonable debate. saying that its fine like it is when theres so many gun murders is ridiculous. clearly something needs to change.

i have ptsd, but its not gun-related. regardless, having a gun pointed at me definitely triggered something, probably bc ive been cornered by violent people much bigger than i before, so that sense of -well theres no way if i threw a punch i would not immediately be wasted- and overall quiet, implicit threat when you know theres no help in sight was the same.

I'd heard about this game where you have to do mundane every day things using guns and had hoped it was like a surgeon simulator style thing. Kind of disappointed for it to be more of a comedy shooting gallery, but It could still be good.

I keep hearing that a lot of VR games right now are a lot shooting galleries, seems like it might be a a satirical take on current VR game design conventions on top of the obvious satire of our U. S. gun culture.

i think that the game is also meant to be a satire of video games in general, where often the only real way to interact with the world is through shooting a gun.
