The Big Bang Theory is still one of my all time FAVORITE tv shows! And, while my unpopular opinion of not liking Leonard gets me some hate at home, Im still currently watching the whole series for like the 7th time! I still get sad when the last episode plays!

Imagine Curb without Larry as the writer, it would suck so hard. It works because he is a genius writer. Most newer sitcoms suck so hard cus they have bad writers and trying to be PC all the time. have we had ANY good sitcom since 2000? I can't think of one.

Why are you only considering the sitcoms in the year of their season 1? Many sitcoms hit peak comedy and viewership in later seasons as they grow and develop. Friends should have been there somewhere in 2000-2004 and later 2 and a half men too

What about Life in Pieces (2015-2019) Not only the absolutely best show startin g in 2015 but one of the best sitcoms ever. Dianne Wiest as the mom was hysterically funny. And it never got stale like some shows

2005 was a great year for comedy. It's always sunny in Philadelphia and My name is Earl also premiered that year. But I agree with The Office being the best. HIMYM is just Friends 2. 0 with a really bad ending.

I loved 8 simple rules all three seasons but your right the poor passing of ritter was going to weaken it. Also the inbetweners are just one of the best comedies its one of the best tv shows of all time

Just from the clips a lot of the new comedies don't seem that funny 2014 upwards. Just the tone is not what I would associate with 'comedic'.
