I was an 80s child and 90s teen, I sang with friends - Ducktails, Gilligan's Island, (Gummie Bears - not listed, Scoobie Doo, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
But of those, only the Fresh Prince (my #2) could be compared for catchiest, and for length of years sang with friends to.
The Jeffersons. #1. Don't matter what you look like or where you are from. Long as you know English. Always watched saved by the bell. Never sang it. Ax that one.
And for cartoons, Gummi Bears #1. Ducktails #2. Pokemon is not in the same ballpark. Not a top 10, and Catchiest! Compared to Gummi Bears? Whuuuuuut?

Who in the hell thought up this bogus list? Friends is number one? It's so wonderful growing up in a White World with deaf and blind people who see only what they want to see as good or worthy. The Jeffersons is by far the number one Theme Song ever and Good Times is a close second, but I guess it depends on the author; and not to be singling out all the Black Music, Speed Racer is also my choice for the first rap song ever. This video is completely booty!

Not even close. At least seven of those should not even be on the list at all. Just off the top of my head these are ones that should be in the top 10 before you even start thinking about most of them on your list. The theme to The Greatest American Hero. The theme to Laverne & Shirley. The theme to the TV show Sweepstakes, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Angie, The Good Life, the 1980s TV show The Quest. Sorry, your list just doesn't cut it.

Not enough songs from older classic shows and why no instrumental themes either?
Like Different Worlds by Maureen McGovern from Angie and The Amazing Spider Man Theme song for the 1960s cartoon and The Lonely Man Instrumental Theme Music from 1970s The Incredible Hulk and The Waltons Instrumental Theme Music. To name just a few more than obvious to me omissions.
