The PG-13 rating came about because of the complaints parents had for Spielberg's _Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. _ It wasn't quite an R, but was a bit more intense than your average PG, so Steven Spielberg suggested to the MPAA that they come up with a rating in between the two. Thus, PG-13 was born.

The first 2 Insidious movies were phenomenalthere are probably people wholl say theyre not that scary but its not just about being scary its about the storyline too & the way they connected the two movies was just great

Ouija origin of evil movie (2016) and Insidious movie (2010) and The Ring movie (2002) should be rated PG-13 they shouldnt be rated R because I have seen those 3 movies before and they dont show too much violence or blood or guts so they shouldnt be given a rated R rating.

I haven't seen 'Drag Me To Hell, ' so the premise is confusing. The woman at the bank wouldn't extend the old lady's mortgage AGAIN, so the old lady tortures her? Because the bank employee was following the rules and couldn't go against logical banking policies?

I dont know. I dont feel these should be R. It kinda falls under the idea of G movies that are getting pushed to PG because someone gets hit with a pie in the face, or that the main character is put into distress and MIGHT get hurt.

Well guys if you had done your research, you would have found out that Jaws did not recieve an R rating becuase the MPAA told Spielberg that in order to get PG, they needed to cut some frames from the severed leg falling down.

The MPAA is a joke, and it's ratings are arbitrary.
It's not just not perfect, but it's a scam.
Every watched This film has not yet been rated? If not, do so. Because the MPAA is an extortion scam.

Ratings are based on content. Thats why Insidious got rated PG-13 because it said fk once and barely any blood so mainly just scary content. Get mad at this comment if you want.
