I've seen this pack lauded as the best, fresh, new TS4 pack with a new, play-focused vibe! but it really is the same old, same old. Wallpapers, floors, objects. all of which look like they came from Parsimonious or the Seven Deadly Sims a decade ago-- and like you said, the gameplay is very meh.
It surprises me how few of the traits are actual traits and not just gameplay tutorial or gameplay flavour, as with every TS4 effort to date. There's a dearth of actual new gameplay -- even with new objects/skills, it's just let's reskin this console code. None of it is new, none of it is interesting, and none of it is worth paying for. Especially when the worlds remain boring stay on the path expanses of nothing interesting, too.

The bluntness of mentioning Wicked Whims, my goodness, LGR.
Very true though, I don't really see much in this pack beyond the stuff that is already contained in either that mod or Wonderful Whims.
Maybe the dating app But, with how horrible Sims randomly-generated townies look and how unreliable the gallery sounds Why not just match up your Sims with Sims that you created That's always what I just do. Very gimmicky.
Annoying they've not fixed many of the issues which still plague Sims 4 group activities. Group conversations are so poorly integrated. Maybe it's time to revisit the ole Sims 2 or Sims 3

Hey, don't describe allowing people who are poly to make sims poly too, as incentivizing it.
That's BS.
But if I get you right this is basically just soft core wicked whims
Which means that the correct response to the people throwing a tantrum about that bug that, causesincest
Is to say no duh that's not a bug it's a feature and a loving homage to the reason this game's pack exists we wanted console players to be able to have as close of a wicked whims, feature as we could.
Legally speaking.

1: 22 - Uh. while it's nice that the Sims 4 works on being more inclusive for all types of people, there are some things that you should really double-triple-think about putting into the game.
I honestly, genuinely did not know this was gonna be an EP. I saw the ad image for it and thought it was gonna be a GP.
PS: Oh, god, the tacky, gaudy, overly-animal-printed rugs and wallpapers! I can't believe I ever used them as a child when I played The Sims 1! XD

If they set up the ability to date multiple people and not get jealous if you do, its supposed to let you get married.
Nothing wrong with letting people who can't express themselves IRL do it in fiction.
And I do mean that with literally everyone as long as what they are expressing doesn't involve a real person.
It doesn't matter what they're using the fiction to redirect, because using fiction to redirect even harmful thoughts is healthy.

I remember when The Sims 4 came out, we couldn't wait and were so excited. What we got was an empty shell of a game, i remember how me and my friend looked at each other after playing for a while, disappointment, like this can't be it right. Even today i wonder what the hell happened, The Sims 3 was so awesome, made with LOVE and effort! If The Sims 5 doesn't release with seasons and pets by default, i'm not gonna give them my money: D

I had to wait the whole video for you to finally throw shade at yet another overpriced pack. I love the videos where the packs are so lousy, you spend the video ripping them, and I don't even follow or play this game series. Also, I get the feeling the character you got there with the blonde hair and sunglasses is supposed to be ol' Duke, but considering it's a romantic pack, I'm just getting Johnny Bravo.

Shame that one of the alternatives that showed a real possibility of being an actual competitor, Life By You, is cancelled. One less reason for EA to put in any great amount of effort.
While Paralives does look somewhat interesting, I'm not entirely convinced it has sufficient financial backing to ever be more than a mild diversion. I could very easily be wrong. I hope I am.

I think the last pack I bought was the High School one and I rarely even play the game anymore. I feel like I start up the game and lose interest within an hour but I can play Sims 2 and 3 for hours. Sims 3 has it's fault but boy is it fun! And each Sims 4 Expansion Pack is like $60 Canadian dollars and It's just not worth it. even on sale, tbh.

Sims features another time; shouldnt these be in the basegame Sims 4 cloud doesnt attrack in any way! All these new features make the game to complicated, is there a little stretch feature of the Sim days to fit in all these features EA app crashing some months ago my Sims 4 installation ghosted Paralives or Unzoi maybe better!

ive got nearly 6 years qa experience & every time a pack comes out with clearly broken everything im dumbfounded. one thing that jumps out to me is they dont seem to do any testing against new expansions with older ones enabled. you cant just test an expansion by itself when you have 15 others that players potentially have.

Why did they have to getting killed by a meteor in the Sims If you either played the game or watched someone play the game the Sims want to die without help by themselves. They will eat bad food set themselves on fire with many other things they can do to kill themselves. The developer didn't need to add more ways to die.

Of course there are more expansions for Sims 4 than any other. I'm not going to be surprised if EA makes Sims 5 only as a sort of app store with barely any functionality where the luser would have to buy every single feature they may want to play with. Just like basically all cloud or live services are becoming now.

I actually kind of hate that they didn't call it WooHoo Education. The random break in tone/character not only takes away from the established setting, but deviating from design principles is what makes a lot of mods stand out and look like hacks jammed into a game- so why is official content starting to look like that too

10: 01 I'm honestly surprised it's not called encourage woohoo wisdom or something similar just to keep up with the rest of the motifs. But then again this entire DLC seems like the dev team got drunk and decided to throw their kinks at the proverbial wall to see what stuck or. I'll let myself out now.

I have already bought and played this expansion, but I really needed to watch this review. It is a balm for my soul! You can definitely tell the developers have been checking out some mods and also that they know their primary customer group are probably no longer teens, but now slightly more. middle aged

its always a fight to keep your sim seated during the date and for other sims to stop walking up and being awkward third wheels. i swear i saw tweets saying that was a goal of this pack, to fix the unwanted conversation bargers but of course thats too much of a task for the sims team

Funny how there's now more packs for the sims 4 than 1 and 2 combined - which are far better games imo, even sims 3 only has 11 - which I'm only just getting into fully exploring
I have the sims 4 base, but have barely played it - constant updating and slow load times put me off

LGR and Carl's sims guide. the only 2 people I believe when it comes to sims reviews.
almost everyone else don't get the context of what the sims were to compare to the current state.
P. S. ciudad enamorada = city in love. ciudad del amor = city of love

Being that this game has been out for ten years with expansions stilling coming out, I have to wonder if there's a super fan out there that has everything EA released for The Sims 4, and they have this super big Sims game going on their computer.
