I grew up in the 70's, what a decade! Graduated high school in '77, joined the US Army in '78. My dad was the manager of a huge retail store so when the Atari system first hit the shelves he snagged one for us. The drinking age was 18 but you were limited to 3. 2% alcohol beer only until reaching 21. (This is the US only) I'm not sure if it was the same for all states though. No computers, no internet, no cell phones, no CCTV everywhere and people were generally polite to each other. Man, I do miss those days.

No one ever talks about the unbelievably laziness and entitlement of the musicians at this time. hence why it was such a work hazard for them to up and join a commune cult after Just going to pick up a load of bread cuz they easily bought into the nonsensical and evil sales pitch of socialism/communism that promises something for nothing unfortunately that nothing almost always consists of those who joined lives!

I entered the seventies at 7 and left them at 17. Being a kid in a sleepy beach town just north of San Diego in the 70s was paradise. I ling for that simple freedom constantly. Sometimes I can almost feel like that kid again. Maybe this will bring it back just a little.

I miss cigarette ads, they really need to suck it up and bring em back, we have so many duplicates of people that we already have and are just trying to suffer through! Cuz ending them freely by anyone in society is somehow frowned upon and IMHO is kinda UN-AMERICAN

I spent my preteen years and adolescence in the 1970's. I went from wanting to be a hippie in San Francisco to embracing the disco scene and lifestyle.
