What Did Archeologists Find In Paul Revere's Outhouse?

About 20 years ago, the newspaper reported that the utility company was digging downtown in my large city and found a lot of interesting very old items in the area of the old outhouse on the property. It turned out that the property had belonged to my great-great grandparents in the mid-to-late 1800's, so it was their garbage that had been found! It was so exciting to see things in the newspaper photos that had belonged to my ancestors that were gone long before I arrived on the scene! Those that dug up the items had made assumptions (like your video said) about the social status of the homeowners from the oyster shells, the broken flow blue china, medicine bottles, etc. but did not know who they belonged to originally. I was able to give them the name of the previous homeowners, the fact that they had been affluent, and that the home had been the first two-story home in the city when it was built. The items were all taken to a nearby University to be cataloged and displayed. And, the people at the University were very happy to hear that my ancestors had been the in-laws of a famous local architect that the University already had a huge display about.

Viking coprolite, fossilised excrement, was found in York, England, when part of the town was archaeologically excavated some years ago. One of the things they found in the dig was the bones from a species of fish called the haddock. Interestingly haddock is still popular in northern England whereas in the south of England they prefer cod.

You are all dead men? Way more awesome than The British are coming. Damn let them be badasses. Isn't interesting that even though history is obviously the past, that it always changes? The prim and proper ages that followed didn't let reality be spoken or written. At least its finally coming out. Not so different than us.

Things in Paul Revere's outhouse: Apple core from Johnny appleseeds apple tree, George washington's broken axe from the cherry tree, one of john henry's railroad ties, what they thought were pottery fragments, but it turned out to be some of paul bunyan's dandruff.

The university if Virginia excavated old old house locations on my grandfather's farm back in he early 60's. They found all kinds of stuff even a hard boiled egg a porcelain doll from the 1700's forks spoons corn cobs and bottles.
