Here are all the other tools that you can use to do the super clean that he didn't specify
Hose and access to water
Pressure washer
Dish Soap and Spray bottle for soapy water
Wheel chock to Chock off wheels
Car jack and jack stand
Lug nut sockets
Impact drill or some tool to take the lug nuts off
Used tooth brush
heat gun or I guess hair dryer?
Electric rotery tool
wheel touch up paint pen
isopropal alcohol
replacement Center cap
torque wrench
and a microfiber wheel brush
Call me salty, but it's just a reminder that some of us don't have all of these tools just laying around to go at it. Especially things like jack stands torque wrenches which are critical to your safety when working on the car. Yes some of these things are overkill, can be replaced with something cheaper, or just laying around the house but I think it can be deceiving to say, you can get this result with JUST these tools. Regardless, Love you videos Chris, Keep up the good work.

Keep in mind that rinsing the wheel first, and spray it with wheel cleaner while the wheel is still wet, will dilute your wheel cleaner. I would avoid rinsing first, unless the weel is full of dry mud. And for more lazy pips, they can use spray foam for tyre dressing, just sptray it and leave it (overnight is great. if its really dirty, repeat process, or include a plastic brush.

Also tip, if you regularly hand wash your wheels they will never get this bad, I see plenty of newer cars with corroded and nasty wheels because people never bother to wash them. When I put my wheels in storage (I have both a winter and summer set) they still look brand new, even though there was lots of heavy brake dust, salt, dirt, road tar, etc over it's life.

Pro tip: I find that fresh painters tape wrapped around a regular socket works better than wheel sockets. I've been using this method for years and I've never had a problem, even on high gloss wheels. I've left new scratches on my wheels with every pair of wheel sockets I've used, no matter how careful I am. Best of all, painters tape is dirt cheap!

ChrisFix: .I actually didn't clean the wheels for two years and over 20k miles specifically for this video, so I could show you guys, if we could clean this and make it look brand new you'll have no problem cleaning your wheels and making your wheels look brand new!
That one guy watching this who hasn't cleaned his wheels in three years:

I see that the Maguiar's Endurance Tire Gel is petroleum based. I thought that was a big no-no. They also make M40 and M57 which is not petroleum based and has the UV protectant. 303 also makes one without the petroleum. Id be curious to hear your thoughts M. Fix.

I just had the great fortune of having all 4 wheels replaced under warranty on my (2nd hand) car due to the paint peeling. I've got to do them justice and keep them clean from the get-go. EBC yellow pads provide me all the break dust in the world.

Can someone help me. I have a 2001 Camry. It was sitting for a year and I finally got a new transmission and axles, and now it's leaking coolant like crazy from the radiator cap. Is this a bad radiator? Head gasket? What can I do to fix it?

How would you go about fixing crowsfooting /lacquer cracking on on side of a car? Looks good from a distance but has a bunch of tiny cracks in the paint on passenger doors and fender/quarter panel. Color is bright aqua metallic from gm
