This car was 12 years old and selling for only 3000. So, while I agree with doing a complete inspection, I would do it not to make sure the car is perfect (unrealistic, but to know beforehand what I could expect. There are some issues I could live with, and others that would be deal breakers. Bottom line: how much would it cost to get the car to what I want? I recently bought a car at a very low price that had low mileage and was in good overall condition. I researched common problems with that model beforehand. It needed a few things, but they were not costly. I bought the car, and later had my mechanic give it a thorough inspection. (The car was 200 miles from home, so I couldn't take it to him beforehand) He told me the car was in very good condition and should give me many miles of service. The car was a bargain. Now the downside: the clearcoat was faded on the trunk lid and a little on the roof. Could I live with that in exchange for the good mechanical condition, low miles, and the bargain price? You bet!

Mister, these videos are great. Clear, concise and to the point. I'm heading out to buy a used car in a couple of days and am going to watch your series again. Your help has been really useful. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos. You're helping others big time.

Chris,
I will make a prediction.
Your dad won't drive this car after 2020 starts because after that you will buy your father a Maserati.
Also in this car by 2019 end many things will go bad and you will also have head gasket leak

Thank you for posting this! My dad is too far away to come car shopping with me (and because of COVID) so it was super helpful to watch and have some coaching before leaving home. So glad he recommended I check these videos out!

Make sure the sun visors dont have cracks on them. The inspected a car once and the car had a cracked mirror and it cost 300 new to buy from the dealer.
Always check everything before buying otherwise youll be surprised

I watched the video where he negotiated and didn't buy this car. After watching all these, I think the guy willing to take 2, 100 was worth it. Am I the only one? Seemed mostly clean considering how used it is.

I had to stop the video because I was laughing the radio blasting 'Paradise by the Dashboard Lights'. I wonder if the seller is praying for the end of time?
