I'm late to the party. I bought cookie dough flavored vodka. It sounded better than it tasted. It sat in the liquor cabinet for a while. Early 2020, I planned on buying rubbing alcohol because I knew it was a great pine sap remover. I procrastinated, and due to Covid it could not be found. The cookie dough vodka worked, maybe not quite as good but a good substitute. Plus it smells good as you are cleaning, and the neighbors give you weird looks.

Copper nails are rather inexpensive. The 4 ones would be ideal for the job and it would only take a week or so, but I just don't have the heart to do away with my neighbors big beautiful tree, so I have to continue cleaning my truck.

Chris I am furious! I covered by entire car with alcohol waited 10 minutes, tried to rub it off but it went sticky and now I have a car that smells like a drunk and I have wasted 58 cans of good beer! Bloody liberty!

Chris I like your vids and you did follow the directions but to be fair you need to let them all sit the same amount of time and do a instant, 1-min, 5-min compare. Either way, you found the best product.

I was just goofing off with goof off, sap came right off immediately but after using it id wipe the spot off with water just in case the chemical doesn't eat your clear coat and paint but yeah hope this helps

5 years later and this video still saving lives. Moved to a new apartment complex and got sap all over the hood and windshield. Poured rubbing alocohol on it and it came right out. Thanks ChrisFix

Chris you forgot the best one which is what the paint and collision shops use (they don't bother with the stuff tested, no time) they use ICECUBES.

Do you have a video on how to remove bird poop? I used peanut butter to remove sap and let it do its thing. birds had a field day. poop all over.

I saw that armourall sell a bug removal sponge wich is literally like a dish sponge with an abrasive side. Who lets these products be sold?
