Hi Cris! Well, I hope I'm receiving incorrect information. Looking for fuel filter on a 2010 Lexus RX350, and I'm hearing the fuel filter is part of the pump, INSIDE the tank! Would you recommend where to find this type of information for your general users, and specifically for my situation? I looked for replacement canister at Advance Auto and found only universal fit canisters. No bueno.

I replaced the fuel filter on my 1991 Pathfinder yesterday - after fitting it I checked for leaks and sure enough fuel was seeping out of the exit end. I checked for tightness but the rubber had compressed and wouldnt tighten. I cut 1/2 or 10mm off the end and tightened onto fresh hose - all sealed and job done! Then I saw this video.

Yea im now waiting for my car because it's in garage because fuel injectors got bad i god terrible fuel economy power dissapeared and I got huge black smoke clouds so my mechanic told me that new fuel injectors and replacement gonna cost 700

Hey chris, my car does somethibg weird. Sometimes when i start the car, the accelerator literally does nothing. I floor it and the engine does nothing. No revs goibg uo, no acceleration, what could be be the cause?

My 05 Sentra stalls and then it needs like 30 min. or so to start again. Changed the fuel pump but it didn't solve it. I'll try this, hope it works. Otherwise, i guess I'll take my ol bike back to the streets

Thanks Chris! i finally tackled this demon and changed the fuel filter to my truck. thanks to you i was able safely remove my old fuel filter and and install a new one to my truck. so thanks again!

Do i have to remove the fuel pump switch? Can i just disconnect the battery? I dont have a diagram in my owners manual and the dealer is asking for money to give it to me

How do you dispose of old filter, i'm scared i'll throw it away and this 100 degree heat will ignite it like a bomb there by causing the new Boston Inferno.

Chris, my Xterra says I don't need to change my filter because it's in tank but I don't believe them, I think I want to change it. Any experience with this?

This is probably a silly question but is there anything that can be put on the filters nipples so that fuel lines come off a little easier next time?
