Is your car or truck ready for the snow? Going out on the road during a blizzard can become dangerous quickly. This video goes though the items I keep in my car so I am prepared for a blizzard. This includes, food, water, warm clothes, and a fully charged cell phone. My led flashlight

My dad always kept a box in the back of our vehicle with things just like what you mention. We also had some candles, a small emergency stove, space blanket, toilet paper. The candles can make a very large difference when the space is small. Also the stove is great because if you're water freezes or there is really a high volume of snow you can use it for water. I recently got a small jumper pack which acts as a power bank as well.
If the snow is blowing in sideways it can cover your lights enough to obstruct them completely and they should be cleared. Many people do not push the snow off their car as you suggest.

never forget to use the windshield blower, so that the outside cold environment doesn't fog up the windows and both windshields. It also helps in keeping the car super comfy and warm, without even getting that warm and dry air blowing all the way onto your face directly. Moreover, you can adjust the temperature of that windshield blower, in case if the car gets too dry and hot, which is bad for our health, so we can maintain an optimum temperature and moist air inside the car cabin.

Yeah I keep a couple of blankets in the back of my van and I have a heated blanket that plugs into the van but not that it would help using the battery if I broke down with that because my battery has been pretty weak lately and has been dying on me. It has been really cold though. My van's tough though it can take the cold pretty well and is very reliable for the most part. But I keep a pair of jumper cables also and I keep a snow scraper and some gloves and such in there

RANDOM ONE - During the winter months is it better to keep a full tank of fuel? To prevent moisture build up in the tank. This is for a diesel car that is stood for long periods due to the lockdown. I understand fuel will deteriorate but how long does it take?
Hope this can be answered. Thanks
