That ground wire haha. I used to live in the rust belt. Now Im so thankful to live in Oregon with now salt on the roads and very dry conditions. My 92 looks like a 2 yr old car back in Vermont lol.
Also did you say anything to the mechanic who stripped your lug? Thats bs lol. Id be so mad to be stuck on the road with that.

I don't know if this would work or not. But getting a rounded bolt off. if you can thread the head of a bolt about halfway down it with reverse threads and then put a nut on it I don't know if that would take it off or not but it could be something interesting for someone to try.

6: 11: I hope you went back to that shop to tell the owner. You can be pretty sure that wasn't the only time that jackass did that to someone's car (and likely other crap like that. It's dangerous and the guy should be warned (then potentially fired.

Thx Chris 4 all yur helpful DIY classes. Saw yur rounded off bolt episode but that won't help my problem. I have a 1999 Saburban LT trying 2 at least clean up my ABS wheel sensors BUT the 2 bolts on the dust plate are rounded, any ideals?

7: 09: Don't use 12-pt sockets on rounded fasteners. Switch to 6-pt to increase contact with the faces away from the corners. In fact, it seems the Go2 Socket is basically an adjustable 3-pt socket for that same reason.

If it had like 2 or 3 sizes like from 10-13mm, 14-17mm, 18-21mm instead of a broad 10-20mm that's all it needs really is just a smaller socket for smaller bolts and stuff

Are you still giving away any of these. lol. ik im late. like 6 years late. i have a rusted exhaust flange bolt and my irwin extractors wont get it off. im out of ideas.

One trick I've used in getting rounded lugnuts off is put some aluminum foil over the lug nut and beat the socket on with a 4 lb hammer, usually works

I would use it for rebuilding a old motorcycle where rust has set in most of the bolts are rounded of. its to bad the amazon is currently out of stock.
