I'm not really understanding the point. I just changed by low beam bulb. You don't have to loosen ANYTHING. You don't have to remove ANYTHING. There are two rubber caps over the bulbs. Pry the correct one off with a screwdriver. Turn the bulb holder a half turn and pull it out of the assembly. Replace the bulb and put it back in. Three minute job counting opening the package to get the new bulb. This guy is just Rube Goldberging'' the process. Why?

If you have a high milage trailblazer like I do. the first tab I tried to pop off broke. I went and pulled off the airbox instead, which took all of 2 minutes. Popped the low beam off from the inside and worked like a charm. The video definitely did help by mentioning that some people take off the airbox! (Make sure you line up the intake tube before screwing down the airbox.

I used to do it his method on the passenger side, until I installed a brush guard. Now I just remove the corner brace, the air filter box by removing 3 screws, removing the air filter and inlet funnel. A lot easier than removing the grill. It is not a pain. It is a pain when I have to remove the brush guard.

If you have this vehicle, you can skip the first step and avoid breaking the clips in the front. There is enough room to use a hook to remove the rubber covers in the back of the headlight for both headlamps, for turn signals you will still have to remove the whole assembly.

I don't usually comment but you did an excellent job on this tutorial. It wasn't over complicated, you didn't try to use a ton of technical jargon, not tons of extra explanations, you used the camera well to show your work. Good job.

I've gotten headlight bulbs from the junkyard and cleaned them up with rubbing alcohol. so far so good I've been doing this for years and never had a problem with early burnouts.
