Watch a minnow trap catching minnows and other fish in a salt marsh pond under ice. The fish caught are mummichogs which are very hardy and are used as a baitfish all the time. There were sheepshead minnows and spearing swimming around outside the trap. The bait inside the trap is a piece of hot-dog roll.
The trap I use is GEE'S Galvanized Minnow Trap
