My moms BMW has a chip that became a crack instantly and it was in front of the driver but closer to the bottom corner, so we went to one of those 1 hour windshield repair tents. Useless fellows used a useless product that didnt fill the crack, only stopped it from growing. Not even a year later, the crack has grown directly into the drivers field of view, which meant there was always some distortion when looking out and light would always get refracted into the eyes. I want to fix it so this stops and then when we return the car after the lease, theres no extra charge. Thank you for this cideo

My boyfriend & I bought and used the kit on my car, it had a dent like that. It seems to work great then about a week later the little ding spiders a crack all the way up and all the way down my window shield. The stuff must have expanded or something not sure but the ding is smaller looking but the crack all the way up my window is what happened after using the kit. Yes I know I totally repeated myself in this comment. I do that often. Lol

Not sure about all of you but, my insurance company paid to repair or replace my windshield.
I've had 4-5 chips repaired and 2 windshields replaced and I didn't have to pay any deductible. Every one of the repairs or replacements was done by Safelite. Why would you even want to DIY?

Product is garbage. Did nothing to my crack, ended up taking it to Actual shop to have fixed. They said they cant fix now because i put this garbage into crack. They said it only lasts 6 months max anyway. Ended up replacing whole windshield

At the end of the video when you took the razor blade it doesn't hurt to scrape the glass I work with glass so that wouldn't hurt anything but hey it's all good!
GREAT JOB
