Haha I used Brazilian palm tree leaves way back when the wipers broke on my dad's car. Since then I had this idea as a kid to wax my windshield when I would buy my first car. Been doing this for a couple of decades and indeed you can drive with the wipers off.

I like the idea of carnuba wax, although I haven't tried it. I have cleaned the windshield off with isopropyl rubbing alcohol wipe it dry them apply Nu-Finish. It works great as well.

Link doesn't work anymore. What's the name of the wax? Is it carnauba wax? Also, if it just needs to be wax, wouldn't cheaper wax like beeswax work?

Assuming I can use this wax on all windshields regardless of the type of car? Amazon said this wax is not compatible to 2000 Camry. Please advise. Thank you

I imagine this would be ideal to remove the inside film that somehow appears on the inside of the windows, which makes it hard to see out of?

Don't put wax on the windshield. Rain-x is so much better. Wax will ruin plastic around windshield forever. I gonna stop listening to you.

How does the windshield look at night with lights coming at you? I would think the wax would make a haze and hard to see.
