I know this video is old, but I just bought a 2005 Ford Freestar Sport Minivan (similar in some respects to the Windstar, and the right rear tail light plastic is cracked/broken in a portion of it. It doesn't effect the lights or anything at all (at least not yet, once water/moisture starts getting to it, but how would I go about replacing the plastic piece, is it difficult/easy to do? Even if it doesn't effect the lights, it generally looks bad and I like to have my vehicles looking nice.

thank you for this video, I don't have anyone to do these things for me since my husband passed, so I'm learning to do these things myself. Thanks again, gonna give it a try tomorrow already have my new bulbs. and thanks for the paper towel tip the guy at Advance didn't tell me that part, which I knew some bulbs are like that, but I didn't know it these were, now i know!

Thank you for giving such a great tutorial. I told the mechanic I would do it myself because he was going to charge me 50. 00. He looked at me and snickered and said Good luck! Now thanks to you I have. I feel like driving back to that said mechanic and flashing my turn signal at him. Just because I am a woman I am more than capable of doing it also. Have a great day.

I recently changed the brake light bulb for my Jeep Liberty '04. The problem i have is that it apparently does not have a low beam function. It only works in the high beam function. I am not the person who installed the bulb so I need to double check it and the if all the pins line up. But does anyone know any other reasons why it wouldn't work? Thx

Is there any way to access this WITHOUT opening the tailgate? I was rear ended and my tailgate cannot open (it probably can. but you wont be getting it closed again) I still drive my vehicle because its paid for and it runs. so just wondering if there is a way to replace the lights without opening the tailgate so people know I'm stopping.

hey buddy.
i kinda need some help.
my signal light blink unusually fast after a wet rainny day. and i realise my front signal doesn't blink except for the rear ones.
how could i resolve this issue?
i tried drying the connections at the harness but doesn't help.

I recently got my license and my first car is a windstar. I she to say I love it. The headlights are even easier to work on. A lot of the interior panels are just screwed on too which made it easy to fix my sliding door that wouldn't open.

I have a 1999 ford windstar. Any thing on why my right tail light doesn't come on but the light works when the brake is applied? I've tried new bulbs. The sockets are fine. I might have to bypass and run wire from the left to right side.

hi chirs, my 2010 toyota corolla the lower 2 break lights only work when i turn the headlights on, if i turn the heads lights off the 2 break lights wont work? any chance can do a break lights trouble shoot video?

we changed ours. it still doesn't work. our old bulb wasn't black looking like it had blown out. It is only our right brake light. everything else works.
