So this is a transverse engine set up. Are there transverse set ups where the crank is on the other side?
And dont you have to unhook the battery before taking the positive connector off the alternator? If it touches something it can short, no?

How long will the car run once you've been told you need a new alternator that's been tested? And how much would that run me if I purchase the part myself?
NOTE: My radio is off & power locks stopped working. Lights, AC fine.

I have a question, if I may. my alternator is in the same position as is sowed in this video, but the belt is slightly different! Can you tell me where the tension pulley is on a VW Vento 1995 TDI Diesel?

Chris. I took your advice in one of your new videos and came to one of your old videos. You're are right! Your editing has improved greatly. Content is still as solid as it was at the beginning, though. :-)

Hey chris can u use a simple wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley? Im tryna do valve covers on a car but i have to move the altenator outthe way to remove that rear valve cover.
