Hey Chris! Love watching your videos! they've inspired/taught me to start working on my own run down and rusty minivan. I've replaced the coil springs, shocks, calipers, rotors, pads, wheel bearings, and cv axels! next up is both front and back valve cover gaskets and the entire exhaust system. real rust bucket I tell ya lol but I have learned so much and have really begun to enjoy it as a hobby.
whenever I watch your videos, I can't help but notice how detail oriented and precise you are. How long did it take you to complete this project with all the prep work, painting, gathering parts, junk yard run, and even filming/editing the content hours days weeks you make it look so easy!

Hey Chris, I don’t know if you will respond to this but I have a question about my car and you’re a really good mechanic so I figured I’d ask and at least try. I just got a 2005 EX Honda Civic the check engine lights on and I haven’t got to take it to get it scanned yet but It’s died on me while driving four times to wear. None of my lights will shut off, but the car won’t let me accelerate anymore and then I gotta stop shut the car fully down and then turn it back on and then it lets me accelerate again or drive. It has a check engine light on and I haven’t got it scanned yet but I’m going to latertoday.

chrisfix i have a request i have a jetta 2014 and i cant connect my iphone to the bluetooth because when i do it it says memory full. After many researches i found that my car has limited devices that can connect to my radio but i tried to clear them but i couldnt find the right explanation or video the methods that came to my mind were to restart the battery buy turning it off and on with the wires also my radio is rcd310 i believe which most jetta 2014 dont have i would be sooooooooooooooo happy if you give me the solution so i dont use aux cable since most phones dont have the cables thanks in advance keep pushing!

In a lot of your videos, you talk about applying grease, but without even knowing a single thing about grease, the first place my mind went was, wait, what kind of grease I would love to see a video where you explain the differences between grease, compatibilities and incompatibilities, different uses, when and where to use what, how much, etc. I feel like that would be super useful for anybody doing work on cars to know!

Hello chrisfix i watch your videos and fix my car i did a hybrid battery upgrade watching your videos its very good now. And i got a problem can you make a video about how to fix stripped or cross threaded spark plug hole. I tried to change my spark plug on my 250cc atv and i think i crossthreaded it. I just strengthen and put it its running tho but im scared can you please make a vid on that.

Hey Chris! Always been a fan of your videos but I have just one question/ critique. Why not cover up the bolt holes for the bushing bracket before painting I know they are small however the paint could either bind up and roll a thread when installing causing the bolts to seize. It could also prevent the threadlocker from properly curing and adhering to the surfaces causing it to fail.

Hey Chris, I've been following your videos for a couple years now and a lot of them have helped me as a female learning how to be a mechanic. I drive an 04 Chrysler 300M so there's really no videos on doing much with it. I'm having some transmission issues I assume but no videos on how to check to make sure it's the transmission or if it might just need a tune up.

Can this cause the gear to be difficult to engage My 2002 Focus has a ton of play but it's a completely different design, i need to fix it asap because 4th doesn't like to go in, especially when downshifting from 5th, i also think the oil has never been changed

07: 28 ive had to remove a lot of roller pins/spring pins before. i saw a video of a guy using a punch and a pneumatic palm nailer to quickly remove those types of pins. It is preferred if it is difficult to remove or if there are a large quantity.

I replaced solenoids in my 2010 Camry, now it doesn’t go in reverse, I want to mention that I removed the valve body, if anyone has an idea of what the problem could be, I’ll appreciate it.

Id imagine with the turbo videos, you'll be going over the efi set ups. I wonder if you're considering on doing the pros and cons of a chipped ecu, unlocked ecu, or a stand alone.
