There should be a feature on all cars where if another car gets too close to the rear of you when on the motorway it connects to that car and an audible from every speaker emits a loud ear piercing screech and doesn't stop untill they have bacied off, if it detects a bmw or audi it screams BACK OFF YOU BELLEND and doesn't stop fir 3 hours, even if theyve left the motorway and a sign flashes up in the rear window saying BEWARE! PAEDOPHILE IN THIS CAR. Tell me it wouldn't work.

VW have been doing the hold unlock to lower your windows thing for over 20 years now. I have a friend who owned a VW Polo (early 2000s make) and it had the feature, despite not even having a remote for unlocking the car. Since the driver's door lock was going bad, it would sometimes get the key stuck when unlocking, and that's how we found out. Crazy how it's just now becoming popular.

In an Audi, if you switch the mirror knob to one side or the other for manual or auto adjustment when reversing, the mirror heating is turned off until you turn the knob back to center position. One feature you didn't mention is that the German manufacturers often have a hidden engineering mode in the entertainment system with lots of detailed information about all systems.

Attention: Your VWAG engine must have operating temperature (90C) and you have to either turn ESC off or get into ESC Sport. Otherwise you can’t use launch control.
If you use the launch control to often your warranty will be affected.
The break drying feature is also implemented in every VWAG Car with an electronic Handbrake.

On certain Audis that still have physical buttons for climate control, you can keep cabin warm when running errands. After you turn off car, hit the driver's side button for auto temp and will run the system for about 15 minutes using the heat from the car's engine. It is very wonderful on cold days to come back to a toasty warm car.

The reason why BMW does the mirror feature differently is because this started a long time ago. E46 models with certain mirror modules do this, and the reason why it needs to point at the other window is so the computer knows you won't be adjusting the mirror so it can dip it and bring it back to the original position

My 2001 Prius has a hidden launch control mode as well - hold the brake and accelerator at the same time, and the computer will start up the engine and build up some revs. Lift off the brake while keeping the accelerator held to the floor, and the 0 to 30 is really surprising for a vehicle with 70 horsepower! Torque!

the interchangeable roof rails positioning in the Dacia Duster don't seem very useful. .. observe the space between the laterally positioned interchangeable roof rails, both are too far off from each other. .. as it is only a rooftop tent can be fitted on the interchangeable roof rails. ..

There’s a stalk coming out of the left side of my steering column of a BMW I’ve owned for many years. I just realized that when you push up on it or down on it and makes some lights on the outside of the car go on and off. Can anyone help me figure out what this feature is for

Yeah that part with the tire pressure of the Nissan - I was once pumping my tires of the Nissan Leaf and was really surprised that it honked and turned on the hazard lights for few seconds. I was thinking that this is some cultural stuff in Japan where car says thank you in an odd way.

On a BYD Dolphin there is a timer that can measure your 0-62mph time. Press the bottom left button on the RHS set of controls on the steering wheel. Slide the Volume slider down 4 x. Press the volume roller in. When stationary select SPORT mode and then floor it to start

Most of the things mentioned here are very old known stuff. Unless you're a teenager or something. Like the arrow next to the fuel gauge pointing to left or right to tell you where the filler is at. Like, really you had to mention that one

Did you get bought out by a big corporation Carwow. This feels like a donut media or some such and their overlords forced attempt at views. Dont go down this route. Soon you’ll be testing wish/etsy car products to see which are fake. Smh

On a 2016 (at least) Kia Sedona EX (at least, BOTH side view mirrors dip when the transmission is put into reverse if you leave either the left or right mirror adjustment selector switch on, but DON’T dip if both switches are off.

7: 31 I once saw a video where the BMW assistant replied with they look great in your rearview mirror, but I doubt that answer. Can anyone confirm that It could also be the other way around: Mercedes says that about BMW.

The VW beetle washer bottle did not actually use spare tyre pressure as its sole source of power - the bottle itself was made to be pressurized and the spare tyre just acted as a back-up.

5: 45 this is to create a surface temperature differential on the bonnet. Specially in the winter, by melting snow this will cause the logo visibly appear on the bonnet.

I used launch control twice on my 2012 S8. The first time I nearly Cr8pped myself and the second time was to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke

My 2008 E92 335i has the dipping passenger side door mirror feature when putting it in reverse.
