Why everyone hating VW. I own two 2015 Jettas. One 2. 0L and 1. 8L Turbo and I also have a 2019 Tiguan 4Motion. They have all been super great vehicles. Not a single issue in the many many miles theyve driven combined.
I live by that fact that If you take care of your vehicle. They will take care of you. I change the oil, filters, spark plugs, etc by Volkswagens recommendations. I do a service inspection on the first day of every month to check all the fluids, brakes, tires, lights, etc. Catch anything before they fail. People just neglect their cars and there is nothing more to it. Half the people that own cars dont even know what oil does, or how to check it. Rarely do vehicles have inherent failures. It happens. But most of its avoidable.
I also dont drive like an A-Hole. I dont ever accelerate hard or do burnouts or anything like that.

I used to work for a shop that worked exclusively on European cars. Every since brand of Euro car has issues with their crankcase vent. These not only cause lean running codes and major oil consumption issues (with can destroy the engine through not only oil starvation but also due to extreme detonation due to sucking in tons of oil vapor under load, but can also cause oil leaks, especially on turbo cars. Manifold vacuum turns to Manifold boost under a load and it will put full boost pressure into the crankcase. I've seen crank seals literally blown and and removed from their home in the engine because of CCV faults. At my shop, EVERY car that had an oil leak from anywhere got the crankcase vacuum checked during the diagnostic process.

Replacing the PCV valve/oil separator peice is NOT necessary- IF you replace the peice correctly. The key is to use the OEM rubber diaphragm peice. Not the cheap dorman type you mentioned.
I replaced MY diaphragm, and rebuilt mine. 20k miles later - NOT a problem. I may be the rare ones who got lucky. you do NOT have to replace this whole piece. of course its' easier to just replace the whole part, but for 30, I fixed the problem. thaks for your videos. also I dida pcv bypass and put a oil/water catch can in, and it's catching all the moisture and spent fuel/oil that's not being recirculated backinto the turbo - ANOTHER huge recommendation.

RKX makes an unbreakable PCV Diaphragm in ORANGE COLOR made in Germany as a replacement kit. I used it and haven't had an issue, now about 10, 000 miles later. If that didn't work I would change the whole assembly as there is a orange vale under the PCV assembly that may go bad but I never heard of any issues with it.

Daughter bought an 01 Passat turbo with 110K on it. It was Dad's nightmare. Cam chain tensioner was bad about 120K over 400. Coils went out and a coolant leak on turbo cool circuit. I told her no more. She bought a new Toyota. BTW radiator was completely stopped up when she bought it. Never again

i found this video when i was looking the same symptoms on my golf, i trusted myself enough to go ahead and buy the PCV value from amazon for 60
it ended up being the Intake Manifold intake flap disconnecting.
i feel like an idiot.

I bought the product Fixd because people are not aware of my 2013 VW CC turbo at garages. Dealerships wanted 185. 00 to diagnose. I paid 60. 00 you should look at some videos. Product is unreal at all their features!

Thanks for the video. Ill be using all the diagnostic info and info. As I have the same issue. Do you have any videos of replacing the valve cover gasket on the 2. 0 tsi? Also, what was the part number for that part in the video

Why is there so much VW hate in the comments? I think their engineering is great, imo.
VW CC 100K, no issues EVER just coils/sparkplugs (and pcv valve) needed to be upgraded because I'm running a tune w/ CPS turbo downpipe.

Christ, what would this mean to the common guy, some computer, fuel TRIM and other shit that the ordinary person trying to fix something never heard of in his life. just a major wast of time. you sure look SMART though.
