Hi there im auto tech myself but wana ask someone who knows better: 2003 Toyota corolla 190. 000 miles - extended cranking on cold weather only- when warms up restarts perfectly. Repair history: new injectors, cleaned MAF (reading 90% Cal Load no problem, new IAC, cleaned throttle body, Fuel pressure 45 -50 psi, holds pressure ok with key off. No intake leaks, Long Fuel trim -1 to -2%, injector pulse 1. 92mS (idling fully warmed up. no coolant or oil consumption. No codes ether. I noticed all Corollas that age seem to have this issue. Is it possible worn engine low compression do that?

This reminds me of the tale told by a shop owner in north metro Denver. A fellow came in one day complaining of a stalling issue and was put off by the hourly diagnostic fee. He figured he'd try to tackle it himself. Well, after throwing 800. 00 worth of parts at the problem with no solution, all of a sudden that diagnostic fee became much more attractive. Admitting defeat, he went back to that same shop and told them to have at it. It turned out to be a broken wire inside the insulation. As the shop owner put it, Now I'm his best friend.

Had an 06 impala come into the shop same code engine hot no a. c. put a new temp sensor in cleared code all good right no so fast came back a few days later same thing I forgot to mention no tach no fuel gauge first time and the second time clear code everything started working again also had a code for thermostat performance changed Tatar no more problems

Nice video, good to learn about the rodent tape. A few years ago I went to change my cabin air filter on my 2004 Prius and when I looked back at the hole where I took out the filter there was a big mouse nest that dropped down. I'm not sure how long it had been there but it didn't look like anybody ever changed the filter

at work our uniform has 2 pen pockets on the left sleeve. i like to keep a pen and flaslight in there and your super turbo sma tiny screwdriver can goin there. its nice having it on the sleeve to it doesnt try to prison shank you in the chest while leaning on stuff

Sounds funny, rodent tape. The last decade the wiring is made with vegetable oil. Rodent damage to modern vehicles is on the rise. I have seen reports of cars parked next to each other and the modern vehicles are the only ones damaged.

Found an almost exact rodent problem on a BMW motorcycle several years ago. The little critter had chewed away about 3 inches of 2 wires on the alarm/disable module. Wish I had known about the rodent repellent tape back then.

Eric: The solder you are using is thick. you need a multi core solder about. 125 inch in diameter or thinner. You will find it easier to solder small diameter wires using it. Great videos as always. you have my admiration.
