What a dogs dinner visually. The old Defender, is still the coolest looking car on the planet, although I agree with Harry Metcalfe that everyone would prefer the new JLR defender to actually drive/live with but Ineos have ruined the look of it with the bits stuck to the outside. It's like a really badly modded old defender, as opposed to a really cool one like a fully murdered out Twisted, for example. Why don't they just ask the public what they think rather than their own 'yes' men/women!

Ineos have been very canny in making prototypes available for journos to get really muddy. The vehicle's quite obviously already very good according to the journos and with the addition of all the properly functional production components (e. g. diff locks, it of course can only improve. Drip-feed marketing at its best!

When it comes to mud, that-s not a challenge to be considered for a review of an off-road that the grenadier is meant to be, replace the defender and challenge the land cruiser 70 series. I say take it to DRC drive it from KIVU-KINSHASA and we-ll have all the answers we need, including the Ines team

With all the switchgear and buttons we need a start button. Imagine on a freezing day, I will have to take out my gloves to fight with my wallet and phone in my jeans pocket to find the keys to start this the old fashion way. We also need remote start for freezing days

Pointless -advert- for Ineos. No mention that this should have been built in Wales. Irony of course is that Radcliffe was a prominent Brexiteer. So much for supporting the UK and runs off to Europe probably because of the issues he helped to support and create.

It looks like just a knock off of the old Defender with no real innovation and it doesn-t move the 4x4 design onwards. Think I-ll just keep my old Defender and save the money or get a Toyota Land Cruiser next with proven reliability and worldwide dealer network.

I-d like to think the Car would be used for purpose, but I think most will be image carriers, driven on paved roads the only mud they-ll see is the odd puddle on the road, shame really to think like that about it because it-s one of the better looking SUV-s.

The worst part of a 5 series BMW is it's fisher price gear lever. You can feel and hear its cheap nasty plastic flex and crush in your hand. Get rid of that part please.
