Since VW created the Electrify America charging network, I-d pass on buying anything VW. The electrify America chargers are some of the most unreliable chargers there are. They-re complicated to start, then it-s a dice roll if they will actually provide power. In many cases, other EV owners ahead of you will point which chargers work and which don-t. If VW couldn-t launch a properly working charging network, imagine the actual vehicle.

I really like it, but let's be realistic, you cannot do a long journey in a reasonable amount of time with that range. I live in Texas and this simply wouldn't work given the types of distances we drive here. Even in California this would be a struggle range wise unless you were willing to really compromise.

Electric cars need a real world range of AT LEAST 300 miles, while loaded with 4 people and luggage, or its just not realistic to use without having a petrol car also. bring on the bio fuels Porsche!

So far, I cannot see how it's differentiated enough from the regular Transporter. Why not just do a Transporter EV? Any similarities to the old bus are smoke and mirrors because of safety regulations

They could have sooo easily slotted a massive battery in this (and reduced the space in the back by like 4 inches (who-d care about that) and had like 350 - 400 miles range. 250 claimed isn-t enough.

This launch could not be more boring. Van life is all about the packaging. The Ebussy shows how to do this properly with lots of imaginative variants. For the same price as a Model 3 LR? NOPE

I thing they went way to safe on the design. Thats my problem with the VW over the past few years, boring, more than they used to be. The Koreans are more adventurous with designs.

Think VW might be onto a a winner here, shape wise it-s different looking enough compared to its rivals, and it has genuine History an iconic Vehicle to many.

I quite like it honestly, idk what people expected it to look like. I always imagined it'd end up looking like the new Multivan
