Can someone wake me up when this video has finished. yawn. How can you make a Britain's top drivers car video so dull. It's more suited to critiqueing battery powered lawnmowers than a drivers car and why put the Caterham in the mix when it's not an everyday car. A Toyota Yaris GR would win this if it was included. The only redeeming part was the verdict although after slating the Golf you still covered yourselves and put it 2nd.

I agree with the findings but i must say when the golf r as a standard car now starts at just over 40k so you'd have to pay much higher road tax 'affordable' might be a bit of a stretch for many when in this group

What I don-t get is why would you not include cars on sale for more than a year? Average punter doesn-t care if hatch has been available for 2-3 years, and that usually means more development time.

Man they missed out so many great cars at similar price points to the cars in this review, literally dozens. Civic Type R, Megane R. S, Yaris GR to name but a few.

Great vid as always. The 128ti doesn't have those dials because it doesn't have that option fitted. It'll have an older version of idrive with a smaller screen.

I don't get why people want sporty SUV's.
They are full of compromises.
Imagine this setup in the FIesta or Focus, would have been a lot better.
