if you want a fair dragrace between 720s and ariel atom, you should equip both of them with best tyre possible and do NOT lauch without burnout. Also better put a dragrace driver in the atom, because they can feel better the grip in any moment, also they knows how to shift tru gears.

it doesn't matter how fast they do 0-60 or 0-124. ultimately all boils down to who crosses finish line first. a slower vehicle could beat you in a 1/4 mile if they launch harder and has better low end acceleration. you could do 0-60 faster than him, but if he has AWD, you might lose to him.

Apparently the Atom can go 0-60 right under 3 seconds if you can shift fast enough according to Top Gear. They might need a new driver.
Edit: Well just saw the 0-60 times they posted on this video. I swear Top Gear said it was under 3 seconds though!

S1000rr has multiple cases of better numbers. It should beat the 720 all day. Rider relies on launch control. Also get pulled back on launch causing bike to wheelie easier. Change rider and it-ll really kick some butt

Considering how much time a manual gearbox wastes (adding anywhere from 0. 2 to 0. 5 seconds to a 0-60 time, I'd love to know how fast the Atom would be if it had a dual-clutch or sequential gearbox.
