To change the oil on these cars you have to remove panels underneath the car. There-s seven different oil plugs you have to remove to drain the oil out, and you have to remove a couple panels out of the trunk area to get to the oil filter to remove it and replace it. You would think they would have engineered that a little better for something that has to be done every year. So most people will just have to take it to the dealer every year and pay at least $500 to get their oil changed and hope that they get a competent person doing it and they don-t get their car jacked up like having bolts striped etc. I just think it-s bizarre that this has to be done every time you change the oil. So, they-re so proud of their engineering why did they engineer it like that where this has to be such an ordeal? I love the car but I really dislike having to shell out $500 to $600 every year to get the oil changed it-s ridiculous.

Such a shame they're not selling. In black they look absolutely awesome, and although it says the electric motors are the smallest, it has several of these motors and I can't help wondering if they were removed how much less this car would cost and how much better the power-to-weight ratio would be. I reckon at half the price, this car would be a smash hit.

This is why I would purchase this car. The level of engineering, the attention to detail, this is why it costs a good deal more than your standard production line assembled vehicle! Yes please! Make mine that bright pearl white with the saddle/tan interior. Just lovely!

so is the NSX is designed and made in the USA using highly skilled US labor and talents, and being sold at a relatively bargain price. Americans, you may all stand up and be proud of this car, something that the Big 3 would have a hard time doing at this price.

people be like omg buy prosche 911 turbo s or ferrari or lambo aventador SV instead. they just miss the point that the NSX you can trust a 100% it will go 300. 000km with no problems just like a civic. The other supercars have major breakdowns every 50. 000km

There is so much human intervention - manual labor which would introduce human error. I guess Acura doesn't profit enough from selling this car to investing in a fully automatic factory.

If they ever get a premium interior to match the exterior, that will be the day, along with a proper gear shift lever, audi/mercedes class infotainment and a manual version.

Now, I see why the NSX costs 150k!
I think it-s worth every penny considering it-s basically a less powerful Porsche 918!
But costs about 700k less!

Looks to be Too labour intensive to be profitable
Shouldve kept it simple mid engine like the previous NSX
or go fully Electric like Tesla

I actually think that the nsx has perfect sports car proportions; it-s very understated but elegant and in a certain way, timeless
