I have owned three vehicles that would give this a real kicking: a yellow 2CV, a Fiat Panda 1000S (1986) and a motor home/camper with an overhead bed. Actually I have never owned a car which could take any corner at 30mph, let alone 100. The best of the three was the camper.

The important factor that I appreciate about Porsche is the fact that there are so many driving enthusiasts on the staff (or seems to be, always ready to put out cars for enthusiastic drivers!

911 R is a 10/10. 911 GT3 Touring is a 9. 5/10 at 40% of the R-s current cost. deal of the century for 500 HP of NA engine 9000 rpm, 6 speed manual. together best modern pure drivers cars available. Kudos Porsche!

Actually Bob, my facetiousness was misplaced. They are fab cars and well made too. When I was young enough to look OK in one, I couldn't afford one. Now I would just look a prat in one. Common problem.

Are they STILL trying out these extremely limited edition cars? For what reason? Just give 1st place to 488 GTB (by a mile) and dive 2nd and 3rd place to M2 and M4. And get it done with.

A lot of bitter people here. ok so you can't get a 911R but if it interests you buy the last gen carrera S (991. 1) with manual transmission. Less powerful but same DNA and enjoyment!

How anyone can drive such an amazing car, review it and at the same time sound so uninterested is beyond me. If it's such a good car why does the dude sound so unexcited? Boring!
