Can the Aston Martin GT8 become Autocar's best driver's car of the year? Every autumn we set out to name Britain's Best Driver's Car, in our annual new sports car extravaganza. Last year the Ferrari 488 GTB saw off all comers to gain the title. This year the 488 GTB is invited back as reigning champion, and goes up against 10 all new sports cars including the Porsche 911 R, Honda NSX, McLaren 675 LT and BMW M2. This, though, is the Aston Martin GT8, which has a spectacular naturally-aspirated V8 engine, which makes a noise to die for. We recommend turning this one up. Is there a better-sounding production V8?

Old fashioned can't be that bad. Look at the WEC. Aston Martin (#95) is likely to win the championship over more modern cars like the 488 and the new Ford GT.

this is basically aston's -get out of garage- car. so they can focus on their big projects like the 1-77 bak then or (hopefully) the vanquish.

lot of money for old engiining i bet its slow around a track to very old like people who buy them i not talking about age
