Matt explained the key, but seldom discussed, differences between a Cayman & one of the most capable and true M cars, the M2. This is automotive journalism at its best. Not necessarily the best thing for the new car market but journalism is supposed to be unbiased & not have stomach-churning agendas & a flagrant bias (news networks. Anyway, this is what we have come to expect from guys like Matt Prior, Steve Sutcliffe & Chris Harris. So glad we've got these three & a few more journalists saving the day in this industry.

Took delivery of my M2 on Tuesday. haven't been able to explore it much due to weather, new tyres, and breaking it in a little but I can tell you one thing, it's totally different to the M235i. It may not feel much quicker in out right pace but it's a totally different animal. Looking forward to having fun in it over the next few years: D

I like how it's not about numbers or lap times, I mean yeah it's very fast but you can just turn everything off, and you got yourself a big ol' -6 up front, a manual in the middle and rear wheel drive. It's raw and it's just about fun. Plus you can daily drive it too.

The winner will be something like the mclaren as always. Like because we can all afford something like that, these comparisons are boring as just predictable

it's really odd how the editing always removes corner exit when the driver has some slip, it's almost like they don't want to show something.

I'm not a big BMW guy as of late but no recent BMW has intrigued me as much as the M2. It seems like a properly fun car to drive.

I saw a 1M today, first time I've seen one in person. Curious how much the guy paid for it, I live in Saskatchewan. lol.
