2021 here. I'm older now, I don't care about traction off the line, I want power out of the corner.
But life's not all lollipops and bubble gum. I don't have anything figured out.
Sometimes I want power to launch out of the corner with aggression.
Sometimes I want power to roast the tires and throw it sideways. I'm never happy.
Unless I'm sideways, that does make me happy.

I love Porsche with all my heart. But when they cost 270k. That's unrealistic for the average joe. You can pick up a used zr1 for 50k. And if you know how to drive youll basically beat any car on the road with that Vette. Snow is a different story now hahahhaha.
Has anyone actually driven their Vette in the snow as a daily? I'm actually curious to know what they are like?

The C6 ZR1 has almost no downforce so it has a big advantage up above 150 MPH. having said that, I will take a GT2 everyday of the week. no plastic chevy for me (a 997 Turbo owner. mine has a full turbo build and pulled 702 WHP on a dynojet 4WD dyno.

It took a huge engine to beat the GT2. American cars have always had to produce larger engines to beat Euro cars. Like the Ford vs Ferrari. But no one talks about that enough. But I like both these cars anyway.

The corvette last year was not embarrassed. a manual against a pdk give your head a shake. by the way a few more feet and the vet would have won. put the base c8 against it and see what happens.

The money you save with the ZR 1. 1) port and reduce pulley on blower. 2) buy a small house
I have personally ran a stock 2009 ZR1 11. 3 at 128. Not sure how this Brit lost a full second.

The thing about a Corvette, no matter which C you have, turns heads and gets attention everywhere. Porches are plain bland and no one really pays em' any notice. So, there is your decision.

With ZR1 having over 100 horsepower more and 100 pound more torque the GT2 is one fast ass car and one hell of car to beat that vette honestly.

Is there a reason a rear wheel drive car (the Corvette) wouldn't warm his tires up before racing an AWD Porche? - Or am I missing something? -
