Thanks for your honest review Matt. I think I’ll stick with what I have, which is what you guys originally termed the sweet spot, the 992. 1 GTS. Have a lightweight spec on mine and given you are now deeming the base 992. 2 Carrera as the sweet spot then this cements it for me even more.
Plus I wouldn’t want to be a test mule/Guinea pig for this new technology, technology which doesn’t really give any extra fuel economy but just a little extra torque which I don’t need. I already feel my current car is too fast for the road.

I think I’ll be more interested in a naturally aspirated flat 6 with that supplemental hybrid motor. Peak power at 6500 with redline at 7500 makes me think it won’t be as inspiring to rev out as some Porsches from the past. Will the GT3 be similarly hybridized in its next iteration

Porsches getting faster but also fatter, more complex. Me not liking the progression. I understand they have to do it based on regulations but it's sad what so many sports cars are becoming

It sounds more 4 cylinder than flat 6. not to say it doesn't sound good, but you seem to have to really rev it to get the 6 cylinder.
