My go to upper chest excercise are elevated feet pushups, or any type of barbell/dumbell/machine pressing movement mimicking exactly that position. If you can find the best height to out your feet up to and the width to put your arms apart it is insanely good and you can really focus on retracting your scapula especially on the concentric part for an insane stretch. I would advise everyone to try it at least, because if you find that spot, at least you know what feel angle etc. to look for on the bench.

Great vid but in all reality, this is why I think doing any heavy chest that isn't flat is actually useless. A slightly wider grip incline guillotine press w/ lighter weight really hits those upper clavicular fibers, but not the lower 2 that you pointed out. It's also an exercise that anyone with any type of shoulder mobility issue/shoulder stiffness/scapular mobility issues should probably just avoid but I really like it.

I've been experimenting flairing out my elbows instead of tucking it in 45 degrees all the way on incline press variations and my upper chest literally grew like crazy in the last 2 months. Solid advice tho I'll highly recommend lowering the weight just a bit so that our bodies can get used to the movement first without putting too much tension on the front delts.

Here’s what’s been working fantastic for me
5-8 reps incline and immediately grab db’s and do champagnes (focus on the elbows flaring out on the way down and really feel the upper pec start to burn around rep 5 or 6)
A couple weeks with champagnes and then a couple weeks without them, my pumps are bigger, my strength grows faster

This is 100% true. I switched from a 30 degree to 45 degree angle on incline db bp months ago and my upper chest never felt better during push days. The pump I’ve been getting from the higher angle is way superior compared to the 30 degree I’ve been doing prior

another cope short for out of shape science based r tards. You're down playing that upper portion of the chest but that small head makes a huge visual difference to your physique, it ties your shoulders into your chest. oh wait you dont train shoulders either.

Hello sir, i must remind you that I am a visual learner. If it must be drawn with crayons, I can surely promise you my knowledge on the pectoral muscle development will exponentially increase. Words with great images is my cup of tea, Good day to you Sir

So the scapulae needs to be contracting and extending on each rep.
Changing the elbow position to behind the bar is a weaker position unless you use the machine, but how can you do that with HEAVY dumbbells and not having them fall to the front

Diamond push-up with arms under the sternum. Start doing 3-5 for a week. Increase to 5-8. After you can do 10. Start doing 10 at a time ten times a day. Increase to 15 seven times a day, few weeks later increase to 20 five times a day.

Is it even neurologically possible to activate different parts of the pectoris I mean your story sounds nice, but isnt the pectoris contracting as a whole and not so much differing between those 6-7 segments

Opposite I’m trying to find good workouts for my lower portion. Push ups just don’t cut it. I feel like bench press doesn’t activate it as much either. Any gym veterans with suggestions

Where exactly did you learn that pectoralis major has 6 distinct segments and what does that practically mean. I would love a reply since no science book has managed to master your knowledge apparently.

My right side sternocostal are damaged at the middle two segments.
I've tried many bench angles over the years to try to bring them back to life. Nothing seems to work.

This may be your best short ever. Great distillation of everything from the main video. Keep it up. I’m 6 weeks thru the 8 week course and I hate you every rep.
