Alright today we-re going over an exercise you should do before every workout that will warm up your shoulders and improve your posture Justin: I'm an ectomorph, a true Ecto.
Long skinny arms, long skinny legs. Long skinny legs. Long thin muscles. Send muscles. Been working out for a few years working out for a few years, supplements, supplements, intense high calorie is high calorie mask gamers along with a along with a 6000 calorie A-day diet I'll do A-day diet and almost 2 gowns and almost 2 gallons of water because of coffee because of coffee and energy drink and my pre workout. I don't gain any weight during the summer call and call and I barely put on easily put on a quarter pound per month doing all this in the Winter.
I just turned 40. Really thinking about a cycle

Thank you for this video. I am a 61 year old lifter recovering from my second Rotator surgery in 12 months on the same shoulder. I did PT, tried using all kinds of straps and gadgets in my gym to strengthen and stretch the cuff. NOTHING worked like the TRX. 1st rep 1st set of the exercise and got a huge cramp (a problem not new since the injury. Kept going and have to say its gone. GONE. Also turned around and used the same position in reverse to stretch. Thx Ryan. Love the no BS approach to your videos. Keep it up. Aloha

Thanks! I've added this to my regiment.
There's a bunch of TRX'es at my local gym - but I don't have one at home, but I've found this can be done quite effectively with resistance bands as well.
Just tie it to a bar, lodge it in the door or whatever you got - bunny-ear that band to make a couple of make shift handles and go nuts. Not heavy enough? Move back or choose a bigger band. Too heavy? Inch forward or pick a smaller band. Cheers

48 yrs old. Always looking for a good shoulder warm up before smashing the weights. Damn it, this one is pretty f'ing good. With each rep past six I was saying f-u, Ryan. f-u, Ryan. The burn was pretty intense but I could really feel it as long as I kept it a slow motion. Pretty damn good. I did it everyday this week before the lifting. My girlfriends noticed my posture and center back muscles are better. Thanks, Ryan.

Ryan, I'm 57 yrs old and have trained since I was 18. I've had several surgeries including a repair of a complete rupture of the labrum and two rotator cuff tendons (L shoulder. Spent YEARS trying to bring that left shoulder back up to speed. Just tried this and had a true blue -holy shit- moment. FAR better than simple face pulls. I owe you one!

Athlean-X had something like this in some of Jeff-s shoulder workouts and back stuff. It helped me a lot, and this right here is a fantastic improvement on that. Definitely doing this daily. I still use the black balls, but I hog 2 of the ropes so I have a wider pull. And I piss off more people in the gym.

I feel like I'm listening to an older version of myself when you talk about your thoracic issues and the pinched nerve in your neck, because that definitely feels like where I'm headed if I don't find a way to correct it. Thanks for the tips, I gotta go sell a couple pairs of my wife's undies.

Ryan,
I am 12 years old and have been training since kindergarten. I've had six or seven knee blow outs and rupture of my bumbum (O-ring. Spent DAYS trying to put it back in! Just tried this and had a brown bum -holy shit- moment. Much better than simple red rover. IOU1.

Thought I was crazy for having this pinched nerve in my neck that literally sends a shock down to my fingers, now seeing this after seeing a PT really makes me feel good about my recovery and I can-t wait to implement these as much as possible
