Athlean-X seriously works. Day by day training plan that actually does what Jeff Cavaliere says it does. I'm starting week 3 today and I'm literally building muscle while losing body fat and getting stronger and building more stamina each workout session. It's as if all of the routines are working in tandem building anabolic energy and power. I literally ran over 2 miles straight two days ago and didn't even feel like stopping. It's amazing what the program allows you to do. Try Athlean-X and see for yourself. And no, I'm not sponsored by Athlean-X. I'm just a normal guy getting great results.

Glad to have watched this, been adding iso into my workouts much more along with full range and short range movements on as many muscles as possible for the last few months and seems to really work. I'm not a big guy, I can't brag by any means and wouldn't even if I thought I could, but I do know what works for me. Thanks again Jeff for a great video.

I have a friend with a degree in sports science, who swears isometrics exercises don't increase muscle strength or size, as well as not transferring outside of the angle the iso exercise is done in. If anyone could point me in the direction of some bona fide scientific studies into isometric exercise, that would be awesome!

Great video, I need to try this on my next workout.
It has nothing to do with this, but how about a soccer inspired conditioning workout Jeff? It'd be great now that the soccer world cup is on. I can't be the only athlean x member who likes soccer I hope, and soccer players are among the fittest athletes on the planet.

One question: You seemed to be saying at the beginning that research showed that benefits were increased farthest from full contraction (i. e. the bottom 30% of a curl. However both isometrics you performed seemed closer to full contraction. Not questioning that they work, just which position is better. Thanks!

doesn't that fatigue the muscle and reduce the amount of energy you have and in turns make you weaker when you move on to your compound movements? does it have any benefits if its done after training with compound movements for example the bench press? can anyone help me on this?

I was working on an experiment and wondering if it is possible to have a workout program with just static holds like the planche and L sit and if I can recruit more muscle engagement and have a good growth that way. Would you recommend that?

Great video, really comprehensive info in such a small amount of time. I'd love to see studies that are referred to in the videos linked or identified in the description if it's possible - am always interested in emerging literature

4: 00 It is very hard to keep straight while performing that bicep contraction. After a few seconds I can't avoid moving my entire body forward and backward like a pendulum. Is that because my abs are not strong enough? Any tips?

I've used isometric holds in my workouts before. But what I would do was, if for example I was doing curls. I would hold for 10 seconds in a lowered position do 10 reps hold for 10 seconds and do 10 more reps and so on.
