My 5950x that replaced my 3600 on MSI B450 Mortar Max was crashing once per day or so since I installed it. Of course I blamed myself first, because when removing the 3600 some Thermal Paste dripped into the Mobo Socket, which I cleaned with Isopropanol. But the Crashes were getting worse over time, I couldn't even work in Photoshop anymore without the PC just resetting itself. It didn't crash with Bluescreen, it just went dark and rebootet. After trying out everything else - new Windows install, load BIOS optimized Defaults... I finally figured I can get stable by setting PBO:Advanced:PBO Limit=Disabled, CPU LLC Mode 4. Now I'm not getting any Power fails/sudden Reset of the whole PC anymore. Obviously I need to further improve the settings, I want to undervolt it anyway with Curve Optimizer, but I also have WORK to do on the PC... I should just have stayed on the 3600 which NEVER crashed. This is so annoying, wasted several weeks of not being able to work properly...

I have my FlareX 14T 3200Mhz running at 16T an 3600Mhz.. What I did was set the FlareX 3200 XMP and then turned the voltage up and set the timing from 14,14,14,34 to 16,16,16,36 and left the rest of the timings alone, But I did have to take it from 1.35 Volt's to 1.79 Volts for it to run stable at 3600Mhz... I have a 5900X with a B550 PG Velocita..

Gigabyte is the worst, the latest bios is supposed to limit the SoC voltage to 1.30 but what it does instead is put an arbitrary which voltage (1.35-1.45v) regardless of what voltage you input on the bios
Ex. If you put 1.25v on the bios, save and when you check the voltage is at 1.43v even though everywhere on the bios is set to 1.25v.

Problem is you can easily advertise performance but it's hard to advertise stability, particularly since it's harder to implement and it can also friend heavily ion other components.

I'm as old as any of you and I literally could careless where the Start Menu bar is located especially with a 45 ultrawide monitor I prefer it in the center...

1:46:35 do they call it TITAN? imho no. titan is so 2012. the new name/slogan should be Nvidia STX PHALLUS, because bigger is better.
