Trying Redfall On 8 Different Graphics Cards

Arkane's Redfall has launched on the PC and Adam tried out the Steam version of the game on 8 different graphics cards pre-release. Michael: what CPU are you using? also, why were you about to skip fsr? fsr 2.0 is muuuuch better than xess especially on a non-intel card. always use FSR if its available and youre struggling with frames, as long its not a CPU bottleneck, alot the time this game has bad CPU utilization like jedi survivor (seems to be a trend).

So heres a few pointers, 1 dont pref test pc games if you talk about capping it at 60 thats console pleeb talk. 2 with varriable framerate monitors you only need to turn on a few things to setup your system perfectly (your goal is to just keep it above the minimum Gsynced/Freesynced refresh of your varriable monitor all tho preferably 60+). The things to turn off/adjust in each and everygame if your a TRUE pc gamer is (1 being off with motion blur) 2 being test native Res since it should always be better looking(NO fake frames), also you can usually turn of AA/AF on higher resolutions since it really dosnt do much in most games. 3 being make sure to run a fps monitor tool that shows vram usage on a 2ndary monitor OR via afterburner on your screen, that should tell you if your vram limited or cpu limited or where the issue lies, unlike where your guessing about it using the 6500xt.
Also plz note in the review what driver version your using, at least you tell usi ts pre-released code, but gpu driver version matters too.

Thanks for testing, but holy cow this game is bad. The AI just stands there. Half the time they don't even notice you unless you shoot them, and they will just get frozen in place. Can't imagine what this game would have been like if they released back in October.

Adam. Please make a video just like this with Resolve Studio. Using recorded gameplay with the different graphics card settings. AVC and AV1. I say use gameplay because in my experience those are somehow hard to edit, my camera's videos are always easy.

On frame generation, if you slow it down frame by frame, do you see a big green penis that Nvidia is generating? FYI game and cards are trash big fire fight with lots of enemies on screen Slide show

The one thing I'd like to point out is most games have one or two settings that massively improve fps and have almost no impact on the image. Fog for example in a lot of games.

I see that the Intel Arc A770 graphics works well for that game, we will see the future Arc A770 drivers if it surpasses the RTX 3060 TI I need a comparison

Game devs NEED to get their act together! Why must one pay soo much for gpu's and games and have to worry about having enough fps? It's getting rediculous..

the VRAM on the 1060 is the issue and why youre getting those dips. the vram is also why the 6500xt had a problem only 4GB
