kousaka: Long story made as short as I can. I got my wife the 4K RTX gpu 9700 and Photoshop. I upgraded the memory to the Dell suggested 64GB 3600 16.16 speed. But the laptop was more sluggish after. I checked and it was running between 2400 and 2600 speed and Dell blocks access to memory timings in bios. A year later I got my mother in law the 9710. About a year after that my 9700 got one of its updates that included a bios update. I checked and the memory was still slow. A few days later I got an email from Dell for a satisfaction survey. I gave it good marks except for upgrade ability. The next day my 9700 got a quick bios update. It felt snappy after so I checked the memory speed. It now runs at 3200.... Date: 2022-07-02
