I have so much I could say here. I used Mac as a professional computer for most of my adult life. It wasn-t until later on in college, when I wanted to learn to write code, that I even learned that Linux existed. I think a lot of people, and I would include you in this group, misunderstand why people use apple products.
I-d say what apple does best is design. Can anyone disagree that their hardware and software are gorgeous? Especially between like 2007-2016. Everyone takes issue with Mac determining what they can and can-t do, but most people want to be told what to do. Decisions are hard and Mac works really really well.
Personally, im a tinkerer. I like to play around with things. I imagine many if not most in the Linux community are this way. I also like things a certain way and if they aren-t that way it really bothers me. This is ATYPICAL, however.
In my opinion, if Linux is ever going to get a sizable market share they need to focus less on how customizable it is and how you can edit the source code - NO ONE WANTS TO DO THAT - and more on privacy && freedom.
If people are willing to sacrifice their right to privacy and autonomy for convenience, they will never use Linux and probably shouldn-t. Seriously, if you can-t be bothered to use a system that-s a little different than what you-re used to because Muh Games or Muh Design, than you don-t value the things that system offers.
Just like there-s a balance between freedom and safety there-s also a balance between freedom and convenience. Obviously, my home would be more convenient with an Apple TV, best, Alexa and all iPhones. However, I don-t have a tv, I have a record player and I have grapheneOS because I value my privacy and freedom.
Maybe this is a bit extreme, but it gets to the crux of the issue. I think Linux evangelists need to reconsider presuppositions when discussing and comparing Linux/Mac/windows.

When I used MacOS, I thought it was cool at first because it was different, but the novelty died real fast. There is just not much of a point for me to use it. Is better than Windows I guess... but that's not saying much. At least Windows has videogames you know? But the software is absurdly expensive, everything is proprietary. And the operating system keeps annoying you with warnings every time you want to do something more complicated than copying photos from a folder to another.
The pros I can think of is it is stable and pretty. But nowadays Linux can be pretty damn stable if you really want it to be, just choose a stable distro.and it can look just like Mac OS too if you want. Plus you can run most windows applications and there is so much free and open source software.
Also, I find the whole identity branding of Apple gross.

One thing you forgot is that if you have other Apple products like iPad it really connects to mac, and you can do a bunch of stuff on iPad with with pencil and all have it connected to mac in real time. It-s really homogeneous out of box and it just works. I would say that-s far the biggest thing (interconnection of devices) that-s going for mac, and less software problems in general

Check the description for more information, Timestamps, and I put my custom Mac build that costs about $400 to put together. If interested in Mac, I highly recommend you build your own, and check out the Tony OSX site as he has put together tons of great information about Hackintosh.

all operating system are excellent. It is a matter of personal preference. I love the Mac OS as it is my preferred system. I want to learn linux as it sounds like a cool OS. I do not like Windows especially with the touch screen laptops. But it is still an excellent OS.

You should clearly not use translated titles if your video is then just in English and has no subtitles and also explain that you target this video at a more advanced audience, because a standard user will not be able or want to build his own Hackintosh!

How is it that you call Linux -it works- when 90% of time I upgrade some
pachages mysql server just breaks (one of many thinds that break on linux desktop). I have never had that problem with mac or even windows.

I purchased an older MacBook Pro and installed Linux Mint. I know people who have had their Macs for years and it still runs smoothly. I purchased a Lenovo and the motherboard went bad in lass than two years.

Linux may not have Unix code, but it is a Unix clone... So Linux is kinda based on Unix, or at least it shares the 'Unix philosophy' as an OS. This is why macOS and Linux are all inside the Unix-like OS family.

Initially I was a Windows user, then due to loop BSOD ,
I changed my OS into Ubuntu then bought a MAC .
Holly molly MAC & Ubuntu's terminal both are so similar that I use 'sudo' inspite of 'brew' -
